hello, world. I'm

Ethan Henry.

Solutions architect by day. Traveler & backpacker by nature. I'm 23, I like figuring out how things work, and I'm good at explaining them.

01 About me

Hey, I'm Ethan. I'm 23 and I live in *Boston* by way of *Michigan* and *Chicago.* By day I'm a solutions architect at *Dell,* helping customers design the servers, storage, and networking their business runs on. Off the clock you'll find me at a ballpark, out on a trail, or in the garage with my '72 MGB.

04 Off the clock

The stuff that doesn't
fit on a résumé.

⚾ The mound

Collegiate pitcher, Illinois Tech

That's me on the mound at Rate Field, home of the White Sox, pitching against the University of Chicago. Around 30 hours a week of practice, lifts, and games on top of a full course load taught me more about preparation and pressure than any class did.

Four days on Isle Royale.

Backpacked Isle Royale National Park, out in the middle of Lake Superior. Everything I needed was on my back, and this was home every night.

For fun

I built the site for Antique Brick.

A Detroit reclaimed-brick company salvaging bricks from historic buildings since 1988. I put their website together.

Fun fact

CS major. Food science minor.

Not the usual pairing. Ask me about it.

05 On the road

Iceland.

My girlfriend shot and edited this video from our trip to Iceland. It's still my favorite way to remember it.
